The construction of 249 new rental apartments on Smörslottsgatan and Robertshöjdsgatan, near Härlandatjärn in Gothenburg, is proceeding as planned. The project, which began in the fall of 2023, has now resulted in six completed buildings and a parking deck. The finishing touches on the first building are underway, and leasing has recently begun.
The landlord, Bostadsbolaget, is handling the leasing process in phases. The first tenants are expected to move in as early as spring 2025, with subsequent move-ins continuing gradually thereafter.
The construction project is managed by Inhouse Tech, which has been involved from the beginning in preparing tender documents and is serving as construction manager during the production phase. The initiative is part of Framtiden Byggutveckling's effort to create more modern and attractive housing in the Gothenburg area.
With its nature-close location and excellent transport links, the new rental apartments are expected to attract many residents.
This project is part of Gothenburg’s broader effort to accommodate the city’s growing population and provide sustainable housing solutions in desirable areas.
