Bridges along Road 25 Under Construction

The construction of Österleden in Växjö on road 25 is progressing at a rapid pace. Mark- och Energibyggarna are maintaining high speed and quality in the construction. Several of the bridges will be adorned with effect lighting and colorful gabion walls.

Daniel and Oscar visited to witness the casting of one of the larger bridges. They also had the opportunity to visit other bridges in the project: some of which are already cast, some are being reinforced, and some are already in use. It is exciting to be on-site and see the bridges come to life!

Trafikverket, in collaboration with Växjö Municipality, is building a new traffic interchange at Fagrabäck and reconstructing Österleden on road 25. Mark- och Energibyggarna is contracted as the contractor, and we at Inhouse Tech have the pleasure of designing the bridges and support structures included in the contract. In total, there are 10 bridges and one retaining wall.
